The name Jeff Carruthers is synonymous with “Quality” and everything this amazing musician and producer touches is pure gold. Our intention with these kits was to create an inspiring, instantly useful collection of loops, stems, parts, and textures for modern pop/indie/rock producers, composers and DJs. We drew from a rich mixture of organic and electronic sounds and styles; indie-acoustic, electro- pop, 80’s synths and drum machines, gorgeously recorded real drum kits and percussion, aggressive, saturated bass, and lush, vintage electric and acoustic guitars (recorded through boutique pedals, classic amps, mic’s and mic pre’s) for fat, satisfying, timeless sounds. Inside you’ll find Loops at 90, 100, 115 and 127BPM – with clean and fuzz variations in the keys of A Major, E Major and G Major. Barney plays a superb selection of riffs, hooks, melodies and plucks to deliver a prime selection of 100% royalty-free sounds! Also included are 361 Rex2 Loops, which have been painstakingly chopped to provide you with more sonic possibilities and super-fly inspiration.
Electric Funk Guitars features 360 Loops recorded at the high standards you would expect from Frontline Producer - Ampwise we used a Vox AC 15, a vintage Orange and a Fender twin. Each recording was mic’ed up using either a U87 or a straight up akg 414, with a Neve Sidecar and captured in to Protools HD at 24-Bit at 96kHz.
This collection is out of sight for Funk, Soul, Hiphop, Funky House and many other genres.
In detail expect to find 526MB of content with 360 individual 24-Bit WAV files. Libraries in the KLI Series (Kontakt Loop Interface) include a custom interface for tweaking loops and sounds beyond what was previously possible. Each loop is given its own patch, and can be extensively edited by manipulating the various slices of the loop. In addition, groups of loops that play together have been given their own patch as well, making it easy to quickly arrange and mix loops on the fly. Each patch will automatically sync with your DAW's host tempo, making integration with your production seamless.
KLI 3.0 PATCHES
Kit Combos - Each patch contains all the loops from the main body of the track to create quick and easy arrangements. Modulation Keys are located in the C0-C1 octave range, loops start at C2 on the keyboard.
Sliced Loops - Each loop from the product has been given its own patch and can be edited extensively using the "loop fx” interface. The full loop can be triggered at C0. The loop can be played backward at D0. Individual slices start at C1 on the keyboard.
Single Instruments - These patches include full menus of each group of instruments arranged by kit. For example all the synths from the whole product can be found in the patch called "Synths.nki”. (Loops start at C1 on the keyboard)

'Ambient Metal Constructions 2' combines the sounds of ultra low tuned modern metal with sweeping cinematic ambience. It was created by 'Chimp Spanner', an instrumental progressive rock project created by UK based multi instrumentalist and composer, Paul Ortiz.
This new release features both traditional 'Construction Kits', which include a main mix and the broken-down elements and 'Modular Loops', which aren't specifically designed to be played together. However, all of the loops in Ambient Metal Volume 2 are in the key of 'B' and recorded at 90 BPM so, you can play practically any loop with any other loop, within reason.
